MEET THE EDUCATOR
Noelle has always felt drawn to story-telling and cinematography. Growing up with a dad as an amateur photographer, creativity is a passion that has been instilled in her from a very young age. She received a Fine Art degree in Visual Communications and Photography from the University of Delaware in 2007. Over the next two years she worked as a full-time Commercial Photography assistant for various photographers in NYC & Philadelphia. She had the opportunity to travel around the world learning from the best in the biz. Simultaneously, she started Femina Weddings + Events with fellow UD grad and friend, Nicole Dimotsis.
ABOUT NOELLE
Video Background
In 2009, Noelle landed an amazing job with world-renowned wedding photographer and Global Nikon Ambassador, Cliff Mautner. She worked as his full time studio manager and assistant for several years, while also growing Femina. After 10 years as a wedding photographer, Noelle decided to delve into her passion for cinema. She tapped into her formal education and continued learning through online classes, mentorships, video communities and research. She quickly caught the “film bug” and honed her skills with any and all video projects that she could take on. With her background in Visual Communications, she was able to take her skills to the next level in the commercial space, working with businesses of all sizes on film projects. Today, she co-owns two companies with Nicole, Femina Weddings + Events as well as their Commercial + Branding subsidiary company, Catapult & Co.
In 2019, Cliff hired Noelle and Nicole to create a video promo series for his Photo Lighting & Skillset bootcamp. He commissioned them again in 2021 to create a Behind the Scenes Video for the global Nikon Z9 Campaign. Visit our Vimeo page to view more samples of Commercial + Wedding work.
